I wish I had been alive when John Muir was wandering this earth. Sharing a beer and an evening chatting about wilderness conservation around a campfire would have been a dream come true.
I love outdoor adventures as a way to see and feel the world up close. When a lynx nonchalantly walks through your campsite, sometimes the world’s wonders come a little too close.
Words, pictures and wild spaces are my passion. So, is being curious. Finding a new pocket of gravel wonder in the Ottawa Valley, Ontario, Canada to cycle or backpacking the gold rush trail in Alaska, USA is what defines adventure for me. I live in the Ottawa area and have a fondness for hot chocolate, all things outdoors in winter and summer, and dark craft beer.
A special thank you goes out to my husband and good friends, who usually agree to join me on these adventures, though sometimes it takes a little encouragement.
I hope you enjoy this website – these are just a few of my adventures lived.
